Matterport : how the company is bringing virtual reality to real estate

Matterport 3D camera creates 3D floorplan models of homes which is the future of real estate sales. This technology will change the way we buy and sell homes. Real estate agents who use this technology in their marketing plan for sellers will create more exposure for the sellers home, have fewer showings but more serious lookers. Buyers using this technology will be able to shift even more of their home searching efforts online. It offers more exposure and convenience to both parties. The Matterport 3D camera is easy to use; our most recent home was a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom about 2000 sqft and it took about 2 hours to film. The price of the camera when I bought it was $4500 and there's a monthly hosting fee. Real estate agents looking to be on the cutting edge of technology will consider this expense essential to marketing homes for their sellers. The future of real estate is here and I'm happy JK Realty in Gilbert, Arizona is using this technology for their sellers.
